Irma Bolzonello has 30 years of experience specialising in management accounting and consulting. She joined BG Private in 1999 and was made Associate Partner in 2003.

She leads our Bookkeeping and Management Accounting teams.

With extensive knowledge of accounting systems, programs, and the latest cloud-based technology, Irma is highly skilled in recommending and implementing the right tools and processes to ensure each client has effective business management structures in place.

Irma Bolzonello and her team also provide clients with sophisticated modelling and analysis so that they have the data-based insights they need to achieve business growth.

Under her guidance, her team of about 10 bookkeepers provide end-to-end payroll, outsourced bookkeeping, and management reporting services.

Her clients value Irma’s ability to “look under the hood” and she is passionate about helping business owners implement efficiencies so that they can focus on other aspects of running their businesses.

 

Experiences of note

  • Working closely with our Corporate Advisory and Audit & Assurance divisions, Irma analyses client systems and processes to make recommendations that help streamline their bookkeeping and accounting systems to achieve greater efficiencies, visibility and forecasting accuracy.
  • For Australia-wide clients using different accounting software for different states, Irma has extensive experience in reviewing systems and consolidating all files into one program. This streamlines processes and creates consistent reporting so they can easily run reports by project, division, state and the business as a whole. This saves the client hours of bookkeeping and reporting, and results in easily accessible management reports.
  • For those in the creative industry, Irma has wide-ranging experience in setting up budgets, cashflows, charge rate analysis, and job estimating software that syncs with their accounting software. This results in clear visibility over cost of labour, project profitability, cashflow forecasting, and divisional and consolidated reporting. These tools allowed business owners and managers to make informed decisions on quoting work and forecasting labour requirements.
