Maurice has been an accountant for over 35 years, after an eight-year stint in advertising working for high-profile clients including Colgate, Palmolive, and Jaguar Rover.

His first roles in accounting were at one of the major firms and a leading mid-tier firm. He then started his own practice about 30 years ago, aligning with BG Private in 2012. He now leads BG Private’s Sydney arm.

Maurice has a wealth of experience in working with multinational firms that have set up and are running operations in Australia, as well as small-to-medium-sized businesses across the country.

He provides tax and accounting advice as well as outsourced CFO services, including management accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll services.

His clients appreciate the fact that he listens to their needs, pain points, and goals. He works hard to give them the best results, taking the time to explain in simple terms the benefits of his recommendations. His vast experience means he can draw on a bank of similar situations and apply these lessons to each client’s current situation.

Maurice leads a team of accountants from his Pitt Street offices.

Maurice has been actively involved in various NFPs for over 30 years, and loves watching rugby union, whether it’s the Wallabies or one of his grandsons’ teams.
