Senior Accountant

Due to expansion we are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join our Business Services Tax division.  In this role you will be working on our largest and most complex jobs, working with a diverse and established client base.  We are seeking an Accountant who has completed their CA/CPA qualification with 4 – 6 years public practice experience with the following competencies:

Financial Adviser

We are supported by offices in Sydney, Perth and New Zealand and employ approximately 120 staff. We employ some of the most dynamic and dominant players in the industry.

Due to expansion, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Adviser. Working closely with the Director, you will be responsible for managing an established client base with recurring revenue of approximately $400,000. The portfolio consists of pre-retirement and retirement phase clients with a focus on holistic lifestyle planning. Your solid paraplanning background and minimum of 2 years Advising experience will ensure you are qualified to grow and develop the portfolio further.

Duties will include:

  • Liaising with clients in an open and professional manner
  • Attending to client queries regarding financial information or the advice provided
  • Ensure Paraplanners complete accurate SOA’s to reflect client’s needs
  • Ensure compliance with SOA’s to meet industry regulations and guidelines
  • Implementation of advice
  • Assist with ongoing process improvements within the team
  • Event coordination and management

Tertiary and RG146 qualifications are essential along with a strong business acumen, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a confident professional manner. Previous experience using XPlan is preferred but not essential.
