Audit Manager

Para Planner

Since 1978 Banks Group has grown into one of the premier Accounting firms in Melbourne.  With over 80 staff in the Melbourne office our services offerings range from Tax Compliance, Financial Planning, Audit & Assurance and Management Consulting Services.  Our service lines have some of the most dynamic and dominant players in the industry and we are supported by offices in Sydney, Perth and New Zealand.

Due to the expansion of our Wealth Management division, we are seeking to recruit a Para Planner with between 2 and 4 years’ experience.  Reporting to the Director you will be responsible for researching and completing financial modelling for financial plans.  The role will support the Financial Advisers in giving advice to clients, all product research, solution design and report writing.

Duties will include:

  • Draft and prepare Statements of Advice for clients.
  • Implementation of advice.
  • Attending to client queries via phone or email regarding their financial information or the advice provided.
  • Provide administrative support.
  • Uphold and maintain the compliance of client records and documents provided to the client.
  • Provide compliance support to Advisers to ensure that advice provided is compliant with guidelines.
  • Perform Word processing and maintaining spreadsheet templates.

Tertiary and RG146 qualifications are preferred along with a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a confident professional manner.  Previous experience using XPlan and XPlan modelling is preferred but not essential.

Senior Accountant

Due to expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join our Business Services Tax division. In this role you will be working on our largest and most complex jobs, working with a diverse and established client base. We are seeking an Accountant who has completed their CA/CPA qualification with 4 – 6 years public practice experience with the following competencies:
