Banks Group was established in 1978 by Greg Marino and is a full service firm with offices across Australia. It was ranked 40th in the 2018 AFR list of top accounting firms and employs some 100 staff across its offices in Australia and New Zealand.

The Tax Practitioners Board is the national body responsible for the registration and regulation of tax practitioners. They are responsible for ensuring tax practitioners comply with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009, including the Code of Professional Conduct, and have the necessary qualifications and experience.

Whilst we are a full service firm, we specialise in small to medium business, family-owned companies, the music entertainment industry, medical practices and architecture firms.

Established in 2004, the Banks Group Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation raising money for a variety of local and national causes. It is run by our staff, and we encourage them, our friends and clients to be involved.
We’ve hosted a variety of successful fundraisers including golf days, balls and other events where money has gone to specific causes. In a less formal way, money is raised through film nights, other social events and a monthly casual clothes day where proceeds are distributed as needs arise.
To date, more than $150,000 has been raised for mainstream and non-mainstream charities, including:
