Serge Bolzonello has been a Partner at BG Private since 1999 and has been an accountant since 1985. Before joining the firm, he worked at both the Australian Taxation Office and as the manager of a boutique Melbourne firm specialising in the entertainment industry.

This experience gained during the 1980s and 90s, together with his enthusiasm and vision, saw him establish one of the largest and most successful firms in Australia dealing specifically with music and entertainment. When he joined BG Private, he brought this passion for helping people build wealth from their creative talents and established our dedicated Music & Entertainment team, which now has approximately 10 core members.

Serge Bolzonello is highly specialised in the creative industry with clients including musicians, actors, talent agents, music labels, event management companies, designers, and architects.

Giving holistic service, Serge is experienced in both business management and tax and compliance aspects. Deep experience of the unique challenges and opportunities facing those in the creative sector and a broad network of contacts globally means he can deliver the best possible results.

Serge is known for his ability to listen carefully to clients, understand their needs, and very clearly explain next steps giving them clarity and confidence about how to proceed.

His list of clients reads like a who’s who of the music world: Timmy Trumpet, Dean Lewis, Jai Courtney, Jet, Eskimo Joe, Sneaky Sound System, Evermore, Pete Murray, Kasey Chambers, Tim Minchin, Temper Trap and many more.
